Hygiene concepts in the trade fair world
In times of global pandemics and increased health awareness, the importance of hygiene concepts in the trade fair world has grown. Trade fairs, where thousands of people from all around the world gather, can become hotspots for the spread of diseases. Therefore, it's crucial to take appropriate precautions to minimize the risk of spread while simultaneously creating a productive and pleasant environment for visitors and staff.
Hand Hygiene: Providing hand sanitizer dispensers at strategic points, such as in catering areas or at booth cabins, enables visitors and staff to regularly disinfect their hands.
Regular Cleaning: Highly frequented areas, such as bar areas, tables, workstations, information stands, or even call-to-action promotions (claw machines or slot machines), should be regularly disinfected. After the trade fair closes for the day, a fee-based cleaning service can also be booked through the fair organizer.
Ventilation: Good ventilation of the exhibition halls helps to reduce the concentration of viruses in the air. Upgraded ventilation systems can play a key role here. Mobile air cleaners eliminate odors, germs, viruses, bacteria, mold spores, allergens, pollen, and aerosol fats. The disinfection and air purification occur using ozone. These mobile devices improve the air at the individual exhibition stands and can be rented for the duration of the fair.
Room Disinfection: Propelled by the pandemic, there are now products that are environmentally friendly and pose no health risks. There exist portable devices that nebulize the disinfectant into fine droplets and distribute them. This way, even hard-to-reach places are covered. Since the finest droplets sink to the ground very slowly, germs and spores in the room air are also reached, and the volatile metabolic products of mold fungi are oxidatively destroyed. Many modern disinfection sprays are 100% biodegradable and free from toxic residues; they are also compatible with eyes and mucous membranes, and alcohol-free.
We have been familiar with the highest hygiene standards for a long time from our own practice, for example, at professional exhibitions in the food sector. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have made the creation of hygiene concepts a standard part of our stand planning – and we adjust it according to the conditions of the fair. Health comes first, especially for your customers and your trade fair team! Feel free to contact us directly for more information.
