Sustainable Trade Show Booths: How companies take responsibility at exhibitions

Sustainability is the new trend - even at trade shows and exhibitions. Companies don’t only want to showcase their products but also take responsibility for the environment. How can they do this best? With sustainable trade show booths! Especially popular are booths made from recyclable materials such as wood, metal, natural fibers, or even paper.

Yes, you read that right - paper!

This material doesn’t only offer numerous advantages in terms of sustainability but can also be designed creatively and flexibly. It can be processed in different colors, shapes, and textures, and thus provide a unique and appealing appearance. It is a renewable and biodegradable raw material that can be easily recycled. Another advantage: compared to other materials, paper is lighter and therefore easier to transport and set up.

Going green!

Sustainable booth design also includes the use of energy-efficient lighting and technologies, such as LED lights that consume less energy and therefore they are more environmentally friendly. The use of recycled paper or digital displays can also be a way to present information in a sustainable manner.

But not only the environment and costs benefit from sustainable concepts, but also the health of the employees working at the trade show booth. For example, the use of natural materials and good ventilation improves air quality and strengthens the health of employees.

A trade show booth made from unusual but sustainable materials is an interesting and innovative way to stand out from other exhibitors. Companies that focus on sustainability can not only protect the environment but also strengthen their image. Because more and more people are engaging with the topic of sustainability and are interested in environmentally friendly solutions. A sustainable trade show booth shows that the company takes responsibility and is committed to a better future.

Sustainability in trade show booth construction: How we use FSC-Certified Materials and recycled Plexiglas with our client Treets

That's why it's important to us as a trade show booth construction agency to minimize our ecological footprint and thereby contribute to sustainability. That's why we chose sustainable materials for the trade show booth we designed for our client Treets. The corrugated cardboard that makes up our floor and walls is FSC-certified and can be disposed of in the recycling bin. The wallpaper of our large dummy and the cardboard can also be disposed of in the recycling bin and are also FSC-certified.

The large Treets lettering is made up of letters that can also be disposed of in the recycling bin. The vitrines are mostly made from recycled plexiglass (about 80%), while the body of the vitrines and the 3D logos are made from a renewable raw material.

We also focus on sustainability and environmental friendliness in our packaging. The packaging is made from paper and can be disposed of in the recycling bin.
