The Austrian family-owned company Teufelberger is an international group of companies that is successful worldwide with fiber ropes, steel cables, and strapping bands.
The latter strong and highly specialized business division - the development, production, and distribution of high-quality polypropylene and polyester strapping bands - was presented by Teufelberger at the Interpack.
At A+A 2023 in Düsseldorf, the focus was on the business segment "Working at Height". Here, trade fair visitors could learn about the core competencies of safety ropes, harnesses, and tree care products. Our task: One customer – two trade fairs – two concepts. Read on to find out how we staged Teufelberger in a trade fair-specific manner.

The project goal for the trade fair stand at the A+A fair was ambitious and multi-faceted. The customer wanted to present the different thematic focal points appropriately.

The creative room division and decoration selection we developed allowed for the visual subdivision of the trade fair stand into different areas, while simultaneously preserving Teufelberger's corporate identity. Thus, we chose a wood decor for the tree care product area and a concrete look for the industrial climbing area. Additionally, large, expressive graphics in the form of backlit banners separated the product areas.

A highlight of the stand were the dressed and equipped mannequins showcasing Teufelberger's innovative equipment. To demonstrate these in action and correctly depict the application of safety ropes, we were always in very close exchange with the customer during the stand setup phase. This was also the case for the presentation of all ropes, which were suspended like a curtain from the ceiling at almost six meters height. The construction, consisting of a heavy steel ring with holes for the individual ropes, had to be carefully mounted at the correct height to prevent the ropes from touching the ground. Since this construction was supplied by the customer, precise on-site fine-tuning was necessary.

At the Interpack – the packaging industry trade fair – we focused on Teufelberger's attributes of "quality" and "know-how". To do justice to this from a distance, we relied on striking and high-quality 3D company logos – as we did at the A+A.

We met the need for discussion areas and retreats for visitors and clients by installing two separate seating areas. In addition to the clean and modern look, we created an inviting atmosphere with some picture frames and plant installations. The catering area at the front of the stand was highlighted with special lamps and a column – here we filled the plastic used in the strapping bands into the lamp glasses and the column.

To make optimal use of the space, we installed three thematic columns, equipped on the back as working stations with bar stools, and on the gangway side, customer exhibits attracted the attention of trade fair visitors. Furniture and colors – as at the A+A – were always in the customers corporate design.
Despite the different business divisions, we were able to tailor the trade fair stands appropriately, focusing on the respective fair and its audience, without losing sight of the corporate identity.
